The Process of a Home Remodel or Addition

At 7th State Builders, we care deeply about bringing your vision to reality. Our process is designed to ensure that your big ideas are made known, received, and conceptualized accurately, then executed efficiently.

Communication is key. If you aren’t happy at any point in the process, we want to know. Our job is to deliver exactly what you want — this is our process for making that happen:

1. Consultation

Our free in-home consultation is a no-pressure custom estimate.

First, we need to listen and learn about your wants and needs. We will also take this opportunity to acquire measurements, and gather all of the necessary details to provide you with an accurate estimate.

Additionally, this consultation can be done outside to adhere to social distancing precautions.

2. Planning & Design Meeting

Once you decide to hire us, we move on to phase two. This is where we get to show you our ideas and present a conceptual plan for your addition or remodel.

Here, your feedback and opinions are critically important. We want to hear your brutally honest takeaways so that we can create a plan of action you’re excited about.

3. Final Prep or Pre-Construction

Before we begin construction, we will finalize the plan. This will include decisions on finish choices, setting timelines, and taking final measurements.

In the pre-construction phase, we inspect the site — you sign the contract.

“These guys didn’t mess around. I signed the contract, and they started on my project the next day. Two weeks later, we were done. The quality of work was exceptional.” – Mary, Google reviewer

4. Construction Phase

Finally, we get to work. We’ll focus on ensuring timelines are followed and budgets are met while turning your house into an even more welcoming home.

As with every phase of the process, we want to hear from you. 7th State Builders listens. If there are any changes to what you want, concerns as we’re building, or worries about meeting deadlines, we are more than happy to communicate and oblige.

Let’s create something great together. Sign up for a free in-home consultation or call us at (443) 926-9080 today!
