When we started talking to the owner of this backyard, it was clear – unique and bold was the theme for this project. At 7th State Builders, we love opportunities to think outside the paver patio square with paver patio spaces. And this project let us do just that. They didn’t have a design in mind, which allowed us to get creative.

Before we could get started, we had to remove an old deck to make room for the ultimate backyard patio. Then we laid out three dedicated paver patio spaces. First, a fire pit area to hand out right off the main house. Second, a grill area because no paver patio is complete without one. Lastly, a detached pergola paver pad. To add visual interest, we created walkways and room for ongoing landscaping.

Our particular favorite is the contrast of the cold fire red border and the not-so-standard edges. This really rounded out how unique of an outdoor entertainment space this is.
