Southern Maryland New Patio Construction
The owners of this gorgeous waterfront vacation home have a view they love. Except, when they walked outside, they walked into grass and dirt. Aside from going out on the dock, there was no dedicated outdoor living space. That is why they contacted 7th State Builders. For this Southern Maryland new patio, we knew they needed something low maintenance and durable. After all, this was a summer home and not one they lived in year-round.
We worked with the homeowners to design a paver patio that incorporated some main elements. First, a fire pit and built-in seating area. This was specifically designed to be a peninsula off the main patio area. We also included under lighting on the seating ledge to give it more ambiance in the evening.
Overall the paver patio was a 12 x 35 space made with Nicolock Stone Ridge Graphite Pearl pavers with a Rustico raven black border. The walls/seating ledges were done in a Nicolock colonial graphite pearl, with a
Crusader ledge stone cap in a coal color. The fire pit itself was made with Serafina graphite pearl. This project also included matching steps into the home.
The outcome was gorgeous. We are very particular about how we construct patios, so this isn’t just about being pretty. Our patios are meant to last and add value to your home.
