Lovely New Patio & Pavilion to Inspire You
For these Annapolis homeowners, they needed a space where they could visit with friends and family outdoors. And with current restrictions, it seems better to do that at home these days and forgo going out. Still, they wanted an area that was multi-purposed and could be used throughout the year. 7th State Builders were happy to work with them on a custom design to meet their goals. Check out this lovely new patio space.
Creating Dedicated Spaces
As you walk from the driveway to the side of the house, we built a walkway that immediately comes into the fire pit area. This includes a matching retaining wall that allows for a seating area.
From there, this wraps around to the pavilion area. The pavilion is a 16×18 seating area with a stunning cedar ceiling. Made with recessed lighting and a fan, it ties into the outdoor grilling space. This also has matching paver retaining walls. Interestingly, these have a dual objective to define the space and allow for additional seating. Overall, this continues to complete the patio leading to access to the home and crawl space.
The entire project was 1,400 sq. ft. The pavilion roof was also matched to the house to make it look seamless. We also provide all the landscaping around the backyard patio area. As you can see, the results were beautiful. The homeowners were ecstatic with their new backyard entertainment space. And, this lovely new patio and pavilion were just what they wanted.
